JUSTIN LINCOLN'S FEEDBACK LOOP OPENING + ARTIST TALK

"Justin Lincoln is the 2013 Summer Artist-in-Residence at Squeaky Wheel. He arrives to Buffalo on July 16, and departs on August 13. During his month in Buffalo, he will be working on The Feedback Loop, an interactive gallery installation that examines our relationships with images and each other, both offline and on the internet and explores how online networks have changed the way we see, think about, and operate in the world around us. Visual and textual data generated by visitors to the gallery and to a related blog will be incorporated into video projections. These projections, as well as the formal layout of the installation, will evolve regularly throughout the month long exhibit. Experience The Feedback Loop and learn about Justin's work - as well as his plans for the residency at this opening reception. The artist will also be in attendance in the gallery throughout the length of his artist residency; visitors are encouraged to stop by during the gallery public hours, Tues-Thurs 1-7pm, Saturday & Sunday 1-5pm. The gallery installation at Squeaky Wheel will officially open to the public on Tuesday, July 23 during an opening reception and artist presentation at 7:00pm.
