"Flinching Eye Collective is a group of interdisciplinary media artists whose enclave of work, while disparate, concurrently explores sound-based, interactive performances and video art. The F.E.C. utilizes a touring structure similar to bands, but within a performance art context. Their exhibitions are multi-faceted, whether they are differing live performances, video, sound pieces, or some hybrid.
The artists of the F.E.C. include Ryan Wade Ruehlen, Adán De La Garza, Max Bernstein, Matt Weedman, Tobias Fike, Mark Banzhoff, Scott Ferguson, and Benjamin Schreck. The presentation of the performance group takes the shape of both collaborative combinations as well as individual works.
